Produced by filmmaker Flavien Kressmann, the documentary has been conceived by the SudAlsace LaboMaths, in strong collaboration with the LaboMaths network of the Academy of Strasbourg and with the financial support of the University of Strasbourg, CNRS, IRMA and Casio Education. It shows the three main components of the maths and music outreach activities that are currently carried on within the SMIR (Structural Music Information Research) project: concert-conferences addressed to teachers and students at a high-school level, pedagogical workshops for students and the Math’n Pop show for a general audience.
The documentary has been officially presented Sunday 20th October at the last national conferences of the APMEP (Association of Professors in Mathematics of the Public School) in Le Havre.
