Souvenirs from the Live in Pompidou

I’m very excited to share four videos of our Math’n Pop show at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris (March 11, 2025). The full video recording of the conference-concert will be available soon. For the moment, you will find the following extracts: a Hamiltonian song (“La sera non è più la tua canzone”), a tribute to the inventor of combinatorics (“Mersenne”), an adaptation of a Paolo Conte’s song (“Au tout début du nid d’abeilles”) and a mathematical song celebrating the π-Day (“Song for π”). My warmest thanks go to Carlos Agon for the invitation to the EDITE Day at the Centre Pompidou and to Eric de Gélis for the video recording and the beautiful montage!

Enjoy the music of maths!

“La sera non è più la tua canzone” (after a poem by Mario Luzi)

“Mersenne” (a ‘mathematical’ adaptation of the “Roxanne” hit by The Police)

“Au tout début du nid d’abeilles” (a free mathemusical adaptation of Paolo Conte’s song “Sotto le stelle del jazz”)

“Song for π” (a song in which the melody is based on the first 50 digits of the number π), followed by the Math’n Pop jingle.
